It is located in Gulberg on Dr Mateen Fatima Road, a well-known area for high-quality restaurants. The restaurant is especially popular among people who love pasta, pizza, and traditional Italian food.

History & Establishment

Paola’s Cosa Nostra was established in 2003 by Paola and her sons, marking a significant shift in Lahore’s culinary landscape. What started as a niche passion project quickly grew into one of the city's first high-end, authentic Italian dining destinations. The restaurant’s history is rooted in Paola’s own heritage, bringing traditional European flavours and a sophisticated "old-world" charm to Gulberg. Over the decades, it has evolved from a boutique eatery into a multi-concept brand, including fine dining, a bakery, and premium catering, maintaining its reputation as a pioneer of artisanal Italian cuisine in Pakistan.

Owner & Management

Paola’s Cosa Nostra is a family-run enterprise primarily owned and led by

Yasmin Khan (Paola’s daughter) and her daughter, Zahra Khan. The restaurant was founded by Paola Cardone, whose heritage remains the heart of the brand. The broader management includes Paola’s other children and siblings, who contribute to different branches of the business, such as Shaan (founder of the chef's table concept) and Shereen Khan. On the ground, the operational management team features professionals like Waqas Ali Rehman (Restaurant Manager) and team members such as Shere Ali, Fatima Hasnain, and Zeeshan Afzal, who help oversee a staff of over a hundred people to deliver the restaurant’s signature fine-dining and high-end catering services.
